Prevent MICE Infestation.

Remove any debris, which would include piles of leaves, stones and firewood ,etc. from around the home and especially the foundation perimeter. A note about firewood, store only enough next to the house that can be used every couple of days. The rest should be stored some distance from the home and off the ground. Seal any crack, hole or space larger than 1/4 inch. If a pencil can fit into it ,a mouse can too.  These spaces can be filled with a combination of coarse steel wool, wire mesh and caulk or foam. Foam alone can be chewed through allowing mice, or other rodents to enter. Check the condition of your Garage door weather strip, and the door leading into the house. Do you see spaces? Because Garages are notorious for having infestation the installation of Professional bait stations or wind-up mouse traps that can catch multiple mice with only one setting.
